Everybody has a bad cooking day. Food getting burnt isn’t a big issue, you can throw it out. But cleaning the burnt pan, now that might seem like a headache, if you don’t know how to deal with it. Here’s a simple trick you can use for any burnt pan, even for fry pans with too much oil residue.

* Sprinkle half a cup of baking powder inside the burnt pan.

* Add 1 cup of water and let it boil.

* Give it a good scrub at the bottom with a wooden spoon.

* Allow the pan to cool.

* Dispose the liquid and wash as usual.

You will notice that the residues have come off. You can adjust the baking soda and water amount according to need.
