Biscotti(or cantucci) are Italian almond biscuits which are crunchy, twice baked and filled with almonds, raisins or pistachios. I chose this recipe for beginner basics recipe as I got it right the first time itself.

Though it might look fancy, they are oh-so-easyy to make and will definitely be liked by all. The reason I love these is because I’m a fan of snacks rather than sweets. I love dunking snacks with my evening tea. So if you are wondering what to make in your new oven to impress your family, this is it! You can pick up the ingredients right from your pantry and get working!

7. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes. Remove the tray and cool for 10 minutes.

8. Cut them into 1 inch thick stripes with a sharp knife. Arrange the cut pieces onto the tray like below.

9. Again bake at 180°C for 10 minutes. Cool and store in an airtight container.
Crunchy delicious biscotti is ready to melt in your mouth.

*  If you want your biscottis to be evenly shaped, Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and roll it into a log and press lightly on top. You will need to use generous amount of flour to keep it from sticking to your hands. Since the dough is very sticky, I directly transferred it to the tray.

* Double the recipe to make larger batches.
